Chris Mann
As a principal of ADR/Preferred Business Properties, and manager
of both the Las Vegas, NV region (ADR Properties Las Vegas) and the
Thousand Oaks/Westlake Village, CA branch office, Chris Mann oversees
property management, brokerage, development, and construction management
operations in California, Nevada and Arizona.
Chris has a diverse professional background which includes extensive
experience in the areas of real estate development and management,
public relations and politics.
Chris served on the City Council and as Mayor of the City of Westlake
Village, in Los Angeles County, California, from 1999 thorugh 2003.
He has also served on the Board of Directors of a water district,
and has remained active in local politics. He currently serves as
a trusted and respected advisor to numerous elected officials.
In 2005, after working for a large public relations firm, Chris founded
Mann Communications, a PR company specializing in land-use entitlement
and other consulting services for developers, local government agencies
and candidates for political office. Chris has done work for large
international and Fortune 500 companies such as the AES Corporation
and Lowe’s Home Improvement Warehouse, Inc., large development
companies and builders such as Lennar, Pardee, Meritage Homes and
Richmond American, and smaller developers and builders such as Holland
Development, Jacobsen Family Holdings, Turner Dale and Carlton Properties.
In 2006, Chris became a partner of Rotkin Real Estate Group, a commercial
real estate development company specializing in retail and hospitality
uses. He has gained substantial experience developing commercial
real estate properties throughout Southern California, Nevada and
Arizona. Chris has directed the entire development process from beginning
to end, including land acquisition, entitlement, financing, design,
construction, leasing, property management and asset sales. Chris
joined the ADR/Preferred Business Properties team in October, 2009.
Chris holds bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Political
Science from California Lutheran University, in Thousand Oaks, California,
and has completed all required coursework for his master’s
degree in Public Policy and Administration. He holds real estate
licenses in California and Nevada
